O’Meara Custom Builders is a family business consisting of Kevin O’Meara and his sons, Robbie, and Sean. A bit of backstory; the company was founded in 2004 as O’Meara Carpentry, in Tipperary, Ireland. It was moved to Canada in 2012 for a short period, and then in 2015 the operation was moved to Austin, TX. Today, we offer services such as remodeling, framing, additions, roofing, and more of which you can see on our services page.
We take pride in our work, everything we do is with quality and professionalism. We don’t cut corners. We pay attention to detail. And most importantly, we always make sure the customer is satisfied with the result.

Kevin o’meara
Kevin started in the construction industry in 1989 as a apprentice in NYC. In 1992, he became a carpenter and a couple years later became a foreman. Since then, he has worked in his hometown in Tipperary Ireland, Alberta CA, San Francisco, and finally here in Austin, TX. Through working in these places and as someone who is over 30 years in the business, he knows the industry inside out.

Robbie O’Meara
Robbie got his start in the construction industry really young. He’s been full time in the business since 2019, and is a fully trained carpenter. Robbie also manages the building design sector.

Sean has been working full time in the business since 2021, like Robbie he has been doing this work since childhood. He is a great addition to the team.
